5. In chronic hepatitis, long-term loss of appetite and indigestion can be seen, often secondary to liver cirrhosis, and symptoms such as ascites, weight loss, anemia and malnutrition may appear.

Prevention and treatment of dog hepatitis:

1. Eliminate the cause of the disease: mainly treat the primary disease, stop using drugs that damage liver function, etc.

2. Protect the liver and promote gallbladder: 50-100ml of 25% glucose injection, 2ml of vitamin C injection, 2ml of vitamin B1, 1ml of vitamin B12, 1 intravenous injection, once a day. To promote bile excretion, 10-30 grams of artificial salt, magnesium sulfate or sodium sulfate can be taken orally.

3. Enhance the detoxification function of the liver: glutamic acid can be used, and the dog can be taken orally 0.5-2 grams each time, 3 times a day.
