Symptoms of dog eczema:

2. Chronic eczema: mostly due to the transformation of acute eczema. Repeated stimulation and repeated attacks are characterized by skin thickening, desquamation, pigmentation, rough coat, standing upright, and aggravated itching. More common on the back or extremities.

Treatments for dog eczema:

1. Saifukang: for external use, once in the morning and once in the evening, for 4-6 consecutive days. You can also increase the frequency of use according to the actual situation. Apply to the affected area, then gently massage the affected area so that the paste completely covers the skin. The coat does not need to be rinsed, and it dries naturally. If the dog accidentally licks it, it will not cause adverse reactions.

2. Adrenal cortex hormone therapy: dexamethasone tablets 0.2 mg/kg body weight, oral or prednisone acetate tablets 1.0 mg/kg body weight. Apply fluocinolone acetate or triamcinolone acetate ointment to the affected area. To prevent skin infection, it can be applied alternately with erythromycin ointment.

3. Penicillin and gentamicin can be injected intramuscularly during the pustular stage to prevent infection. For cases with severe symptoms, it can be mixed with dexamethasone injection for intramuscular injection, 2 times a day.
