When Are Golden Retriever Puppies Weaned?

It is generally recommended that golden retriever puppies can be weaned in about 1 month, preferably not more than 2 months. Puppies weaned prematurely have weak bodies and poor resistance, and are prone to illness. No other diet is as nutritious as breast milk, so it is better to choose to wean after one month of age. Golden Retriever itself is a relatively edible dog. If the female dog is over-fed, it will easily lead to calcium deficiency, insufficient nutritional supply, and weak body. Therefore, it is best to wean at the age of 1 month.

How to feed golden retriever puppies when weaning:

1. In the early stage of weaning, it should be fed more than four times a day. Every time you feed, you must control the amount, and don't let the puppy eat too much. Weaning is also very particular, you need to take it slowly, you can start to eat some milk cakes, nutritional cream.
