Symptoms of Pekingese Keratitis
1. The main symptoms of Jingba suffering from keratitis are: corneal hyperemia, turbidity, fear of light and tearing, or eyelid closure and corneal ulcer.
2. If Jingba suffers from traumatic keratitis, the surface of its cornea will often have trauma marks and be rough.
3. If the epithelial injury of the cornea leads to secondary infection, white bumps will be formed. When the injury is serious and cannot be treated in time, the corneal epithelium can be peeled off, leading to corneal ulcers.
4. If Jingba suffers from deep keratitis, the cornea will be cloudy and thickened, opaque, with few branches of new blood vessels, showing a thin broom shape. In severe cases, the cornea is dry, and in the later stage, it is easy to cause corneal perforation.
5. If Jingba suffers from ulcerative keratitis, its cornea will be ulcerated and painful, and it will also cause blepharospasm, corneal edema, and prone to descemet's membrane protrusion and corneal perforation, accompanied by a large amount of serous fluid, Mucopurulent discharge.
Treatment of Pekingese Keratitis
1. Wipe the dog's eyes frequently with light saline (physiological saline), the purpose is to take away eye secretions by wiping, and light salt water also has the effect of sterilization and anti-inflammation but will not harm the body.
2. Eye drops (chloramphenicol is not a panacea, it is best to choose symptomatic eye drops according to the type of dog's eye disease.
