Why do dogs keep drooling?

4. Teeth and gum problems. Tartar, tooth decay, and inflamed gums can all cause sore teeth and gums in dogs, stimulating the salivary glands to produce excess saliva. In this case, the owner can gently lift the dog's upper lip to check the teeth, and perhaps see the accumulation of tartar. At the same time, the inflammation of the gums will make the dog's face become swollen, so the owner can clearly find the problem. 5. The dog is greedy. The most common cause of drooling in dogs is hunger.

6. Tooth replacement period. When the dog is teething, the salivary glands are constantly stimulated, resulting in increased saliva secretion, and the swallowing function is not yet fully developed, so it is easy to drool. Dogs in the tooth replacement period will have unbearable pain in their teeth, so it will cause the dog to bite or something.

7. Food poisoning. If the dog accidentally eats unclean and poisonous food, poisoning will occur, and there will be severe drooling, accompanied by dilated pupils, rapid heartbeat, diarrhea, vomiting, and coma.
