Dog poisoning onset time:

1. Food poisoning generally occurs within two hours, mainly manifested as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, listlessness, convulsions and even blood in the stool.

2. Drug poisoning is generally chronic poisoning, and the onset time cannot be determined. Generally, chronic poisoning is caused by long-term unreasonable use of drugs or unreasonable mixing of multiple drugs. Over time, it will cause dog organ failure and damage.

3. Organic poisoning can occur within half an hour at the earliest, and the main manifestations are shortness of breath, miosis, elevated body temperature, and coma.

The solution after the dog is poisoned:

1. To induce vomiting, generally use 1%~2% copper sulfate solution for gavage. You can also induce vomiting with concentrated saline or light soapy water. If the dog is in a coma or convulsion, do not induce vomiting.

2. Gastric lavage. If the vomiting fails, it is recommended to thoroughly wash the stomach within 2 to 4 hours after the dog is poisoned. Even if the vomiting is successful, some drugs still remain in the stomach, so gastric lavage is still required.

3. For enema, it is recommended to use 0.1% potassium permanganate, or ordinary warm water, and the liquid volume is 20-40ml/kg each time.

4. Catharsis. In order to speed up the excretion of intestinal contents and reduce the absorption of poison by dogs, inorganic salt laxatives can be used to give gastric or enema in proportion.
