Causes of dog tick disease:

How to prevent dog ticks:

1. Keep the environment where the dog lives clean and tidy, and thoroughly disinfect the environment around the dog and the items used on a regular basis. Keeping your home clean can also help to help eliminate ticks from your home.

2. Try not to take your dog to places with a messy and humid environment, or to play in deep grass and bushes, and do not let your dog come into contact with tick-infected animals. After taking your dog for a walk, you should always check whether there are ticks under the dog's hair.

3. Regularly deworm dogs in vitro, especially in summer, for dogs that often go out to play, they must be dewormed every month. Do not bathe the dog for 3 days before and after deworming, so as not to affect the effect of the drug. Proper use of deworming drugs can more effectively prevent dogs from being infected with parasites.

Treatment for dog ticks:

1. When the number of ticks is small, the dog breeder can peel off the ticks with his hands. When removing the ticks, it should be perpendicular to the skin surface, so as not to leave the mouthparts of the ticks on the dog's skin and cause a foreign body reaction.

2. If a large number of ticks are infested, they should take a medicinal bath, or spray powder for treatment after washing the coat.

3. Keep the kennel hygienic. The refractory part of the kennel can be treated with fire, and the dog should be dewormed regularly, and the dog playground, especially the land, should be disinfected regularly.
