Bigger than a bear's ears is not impure. The ears of purebred bichon frizes are big and small, some bichon frize ears are naturally larger, and some bichon frize ears are naturally smaller. In addition, if the bichon frise has thick hair, the ears will appear big. The owner should pay attention to judging whether the ears are big or the ear hair is long. Judging the purity of bichon frize should be judged comprehensively from many aspects, not just from the size of the ears.

How does Bichon see pure and impure:

1. Look at the hair. The purebred bichon has a double coat that is very soft and fluffy. Especially after the Bichon Frize has been bathed and dried, the hair as a whole produces a powder puff effect. At the same time, the undercoat of a good purebred bichon is soft and thick, while the outer coat is not as good as the undercoat.

2. Look at the color. When the bichon frize is young, the hair around the ears and on the body is partly light yellow, cream or apricot, and the color will become pure white when it grows up. If the proportion of other colors on the adult bichon frize exceeds 10% of the total coat, it may not be a purebred bichon christmas.

3. Look at the eyes. The eye color of a purebred bichon frize is black or dark brown, and there is a ring of skin of the corresponding color around its eyeball. And the eyes of the purebred Bichon Frize are round and in front of the head. If the eyes are too large or protruding, almond-shaped or skewed, they are not purebreds.

4. Look at the body shape. The shoulder height of a purebred bichon is between 9.5 inches and 11.5 inches, and generally does not exceed the range of 9-12 inches.

5. Look at the ears. The ears of purebred bichon frize are usually drooping and hidden in the hair, and the ratio of muzzle to head length is 3:4.

6. Look at the gait. The front of the purebred bichon frize can be stretched easily, the hind legs can be powerfully driven, the top line remains stable, the posture is natural and smooth, and the steps are consistent.
