What to do if your dog is bitten by a snake:

4. Large doses of glucocorticoids can be used to enhance the anti-venom and anti-shock effects; at the same time, cardiotonic drugs such as caffeine or camphor should be used. If necessary, liquids such as compound sodium chloride, glucose or calcium gluconate are injected intravenously.
