If the sick dog can endure more than 48 hours after the onset, it can recover. The fatality rate of this disease is about 25%.

3. Sudden onset and fatal type

The disease mostly occurs in dogs around weaning or 1 year old. The sick dog had a sudden onset of depression, severe abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea, and blood in the vomit and excrement. Puppies often die within 12-24 hours; most adult dogs die of serious illness in about 15 days.

Dog infectious hepatitis treatment methods:

1. Use hyperimmune serum in the early stage, and inject 5-10 ml subcutaneously into each dog. For corneal turbidity, you can mix 1:10 calomel glucose and blow it into the eyes three times a day for three to five days, or use chloramphenicol eye drops and squeeze it into the eyes overnight with aureomycin eye ointment to prevent irritation.
