Dog bathing process and precautions

Dog bath process:

1. Prepare a large bucket of warm water for use. The water temperature is about 40°C. Let the dog adapt to the water temperature first, and then wet the whole body from feet, body to head in sequence. Note, be careful that the dog's ears enter the water, and the sudden sound of water will frighten the dog.

2. After soaking the hair, use the nozzle to wash its PP.

3. Start to squeeze the glands. The technique of squeezing the gland should be gentle, but you must see a stream of smelly water coming out, which means the squeeze is done.

4. Start bathing the dog with the diluted dog-specific bath liquid. If you squeeze the bath liquid directly on the dog, it is easy to form residue, which is not good for the dog's skin.

5. Rinse the dog with the bath liquid with the nozzle. When flushing, be careful not to let the dog's ears get water.

6. Put the dog in the warm water prepared in advance and soak for about 5 minutes. This step is very important. One is to thoroughly clean the bath liquid. Second, it can kill parasites. If your dog is clearly suffering from parasites, you can add a tablespoon of salt to this bucket of water, and the effect will be good.

7. Finally, wash the dog's head. If the dog is afraid, the dog owner can call the dog's name, and use a sponge to gently scrub from the top of the head to the back to reduce resistance. After washing the whole body, rinse it with clean water quickly, and then carefully wash the dirty parts. Do not leave the bath agent on the dog, which may cause dermatitis.

8. Wipe, first wring out the water with your hands, most dogs will dry their bodies by themselves, then the dog owner uses a large towel, gently presses the ground to dry the water, and then alternately wipes against the hair and along the hair, Can reduce drying time. At this time, the ears, nose, and eyes should also be wiped dry. Wipe the place where the ears and eyes can see with a cotton swab. Ear drops can be used in the ear canal to refresh the dog and prevent otitis bell.

9. Finally, dry it with a hair dryer. This is a very necessary step, otherwise the dog is prone to hairballs and colds. When drying the coat near the face, lower the air volume and leave it about 10 cm away to avoid frightening the dog, and do not blow the wind directly on the dog's face. After drying completely, remember to comb the hair again.

Precautions for dog bathing:

Before the puppy is vaccinated, don't give it a bath. You can wait until three or four months before giving your dog a bath. If it really feels dirty, just wipe it with a hot towel, and then quickly dry it. The cycle of bathing your dog should not be less than 10 days. Frequent bathing will make your dog's skin very fragile. When taking a bath, pay attention to avoid washing the water into the dog’s eyes. If the eyes flow into the eyes, rinse them off with plenty of water immediately and apply eye drops.
