Angora Rabbit is a world-famous breed of long-haired rabbits, also known as grass mud rabbits on the internet. According to the data recorded by the international ARBA organization, it originated from the province of Angora in Turkey. Its fur is dense and long, and its ears are V-shaped with fringe-like hair on the top. It has large round eyes and a round and cute body shape. It comes in various colors such as white, black, grey, golden yellow, blue, chocolate, dark brown, and light purple. Due to the long growth of Angora Rabbit's fur, this small animal covered in a coat of fur looks very big and sometimes even obscures its body shape, truly living up to its name as a "fluff ball".
Foreign breeding of long-haired rabbits began in the mid to late 18th century, but it was only a little over 100 years ago that it truly became an industry. Countries and regions with high demand for rabbit fur include Europe, Japan, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. In 2010, Italy imported 950 tons of rabbit fur, while Germany imported around 500 tons. Since 1965, Japan has become one of the world's largest importers of rabbit fur. The fur textile industry in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macau is highly developed, with rabbit fur sweaters accounting for about one-third of the world trade volume. Each year, they import 1,800 to 2,000 tons of rabbit fur yarn from Japan, as well as 350 to 400 tons of rabbit fur.
Angora Rabbit is suitable for all people. It has a gentle and lovely temperament and does not resist being held or groomed. It is almost a complete herbivore.

Reasonable collocation. If the feed is too monotonous, it cannot meet the various nutrients required for the growth and development of long-haired rabbits. Nutritional deficiencies and decreased appetite are prone to occur. Therefore, the feed must be diversified. The change of feed should be carried out gradually. If the feed changes too suddenly, the rabbit population often reduces appetite due to discomfort, which affects their growth and development. Changing the feed should gradually add from less to more, so that the rabbit's digestive function gradually adapts.
When combing the hair of Angora rabbits, you can use some special combs for gentle combing, collect the shed rabbit hair and throw it away to prevent the whole house from being covered with rabbit hair. The tangled areas of Angora rabbit fur should be slowly unclogged. If it cannot be unclogged, you can gently cut off that area with scissors and wait for it to grow back.
