Tropical Savannah Cat (scientific name: Felis catus × Leptailurus serval), also known as "Savannah Cat" in English, means "Tropical Savannah" in Chinese. It is a hybrid of the African serval (father) and domestic cat (mother). It weighs about 8-15 kilograms.
This breed resembles a smaller replica of the serval, with a wild appearance. It is a tall and slender hybrid breed with long legs, a long neck, a small head compared to its body, and large, wide ears.
It has strong jumping ability, capable of leaping more than 2 meters in place, and can easily jump to the top of cabinets at home. Most Savannah Cats enjoy playing with water, and some can even swim. They are very intelligent and can be taught basic commands such as sitting, lying down, or shaking hands, with a little patience.
