Samoyed, also known as Samoyed, is a breed of dog bred by the indigenous Samoyed people of Siberia. It has a very delicate and beautiful appearance, and a charming smile, known as the "smiling angel". In addition to its attractive appearance, it also has a strong physique, especially before one year old, it is naughty, lively, and smart, with the reputation of "smiling angel face, naughty devil heart", which is very popular in modern families.
Today, most people choose to raise Samoyed because they believe it has a good temperament and will not affect neighborly relations. Although Samoyeds are physically strong, they never provoke trouble on their own, whether it is towards other animals or humans, they are very friendly. They always stay quiet, as long as the other party doesn't deliberately provoke them, they will never be provocative. Although they are enthusiastic towards humans, they also have a sense of propriety and will not be too clingy, rarely patting their paws on people.
This may be related to their past living environment, because in the icy and snowy climate, humans do not like dogs running over to show affection, so over the long years, Samoyeds have also become accustomed to such a way of getting along and gradually become more calm. Of course, this is just personal speculation, it may also be innate.
Samoyeds have abundant energy, but they never bark without reason, so they are suitable for living in urban families, and parents do not have to worry about them disturbing the peace.
However, they are likely to "explore" the house out of curiosity or boredom, turning the house upside down. However, I believe that compared to continuous barking, parents should be more willing to quietly tidy up the mess after returning home, after all, it will not disturb others, and there is no need to occasionally bring gifts to apologize.
Samoyed originated in the Arctic region of Russia in the 17th century, named after the indigenous Samoyed people of Siberia. Initially, their main work was sled pulling, hauling heavy loads, and guarding reindeer. In Europe, this dog provided a lot of help to explorers due to its innate characteristics, and some explorers liked to use it to help them with their work in the Arctic and Antarctic exploration, and therefore it received a lot of praise.
The original Samoyed was bred by a nomadic tribe called Samoyed, which settled in the polar regions east of the Ural Mountains. In the late 19th century, fur traders discovered this breed of dog with thick fur and exported it to other regions such as the United States and Europe. The British fell in love with its snow-white coat because it quickly gained popularity locally.
In the early 20th century, the Arctic exploration movement boomed like never before, and in this craze, the Samoyed gained great honor for assisting people in successfully completing exploration tasks.
The Samoyed has a large physique and requires sufficient space and time for exercise. If there is enough space at home and you have the time and energy to take care of and accompany it, it is very suitable to raise a Samoyed, which can bring a lot of happiness to family life.
The Samoyed comes from extremely cold areas and has rich fur and strong cold resistance. Of course, its heat resistance is also extremely poor and it is very afraid of heat. Therefore, in summer, try to let it stay indoors with air conditioning and avoid going out in the sun to prevent heat stroke.
The Samoyed has a relatively high activity requirement, likes sports, and loves outdoor life. Therefore, it prefers to live in the suburbs. If the owner's house has a yard and a fence, it's even better.
The Samoyed has a gentle and obedient temperament and can harmoniously coexist with other animals. So if there are other pets at home, you don't have to worry about the Samoyed not getting along.

Feeding:
1.1-3 months is the puppy period of Samoyed, it is best to eat less and more meals at this time, which can help puppies digest and absorb. Generally, feed 4-5 times a day. The dog food should be soaked in warm water before feeding. If fed directly with dry dog food, it may cause indigestion or even diarrhea in puppies. Nutritional supplementation is particularly important during this period, which may affect future development.
2. At the age of 3 months, you can start some basic education for the puppy and make it develop good eating habits. Because when the puppy eats, it always likes to eat for a while and play for a while, and its attention is not focused. So if the parents see it suddenly stop eating and run to play, they should immediately take away the dog bowl in front of it. No matter how it begs for food, they should not give it until the next feeding time, so that after a few times, the puppy usually becomes well-behaved and self-conscious.
3. During the period of 4 months to 6 months, the puppy's deciduous teeth will gradually fall off and permanent teeth will grow. During the teething period, the roots of the dog's teeth will feel itchy, making the dog very uncomfortable. They will bite and chew randomly to relieve this discomfort. At this time, parents should promptly stop their bad behavior and buy them bones and chewing gum to eat.
4. After 8 months, you can feed adult dog food.
5. During the entire growth and development period, you should provide the dog with sufficient and rich protein, fat, carbohydrates, minerals, and vitamins. Such as grains, lean meat, egg yolks, vegetables, cod liver oil, bone meal, etc., and be sure to feed them regularly and in moderation.
6. There should be sufficient exercise time every day, but excessive exercise should be avoided, especially in places where the sun is shining in summer. After exercising, provide the Samoyed with enough clean drinking water. Don't feed them immediately after exercise, but let them rest quietly for at least half an hour before eating to avoid vomiting.
Cleaning:
1. Samoyed can start taking a bath two months after birth, which is about two weeks after vaccination. Samoyed kept outdoors, except in summer, can generally be bathed 3-4 times a year, while indoor ones are better bathed every 20-30 days. This is mainly because the skin of Samoyed does not sweat easily like humans, so there is no need to bathe too frequently.
2. Before bathing, take it for a walk to allow it to urinate and defecate, and then bathe it according to the steps. Put the small Samoyed in 36°C to 38°C warm water, squeeze the anal gland first. Then soak the sponge in diluted shampoo dozens of times, wash the whole body of the dog from the head to the back, and finally rinse thoroughly with clean water. Note, do not let the shampoo enter the dog's eyes, nose, and mouth.
3. Do not bathe sick Samoyed and Samoyed puppies under three months old. At this time, their body is weak and their resistance is poor. Bathing can easily worsen the condition and cause a cold. If the body is dirty, lightly comb it a few times or wipe it with a towel.
4. Arrange the bathing time preferably from noon to early evening, and dry the hair in time after bathing.
5. When playing at the beach or returning from the rain, make sure to bathe the Samoyed.
1. Can't bathe frequently
When bathing a dog, of course, it cannot be too frequent. Bathing a dog depends on the dog's hygiene. In hot weather in summer, you can bathe them one or two more times, and in winter, you can reduce it by one or two times, but overall it should not exceed five times. Otherwise, it will damage their fur and skin!
2. Brush frequently
Dogs shed their fur almost every day, especially during the spring and autumn seasons when they shed more. To maintain good fur growth, frequent brushing is an important step. Pet owners can use pet-specific combs to help the dog clean naturally shed fur and prevent matting. Brushing once in the morning and evening for about five minutes each time is sufficient.
3. Sunbathe
Sunbathing is beneficial to the growth of the dog's fur. Besides making the fur more shiny, letting the dog sunbathe can also help with sterilization. While sunbathing, pet owners can let the dog exercise a bit to improve their physical fitness, promote blood circulation, and help grow healthier fur.
4. Deworming
Poor fur condition is also related to parasites. Parasites absorb a large amount of nutrients from the dog's body, depriving them of nutrition. Therefore, deworming is essential. It is recommended to deworm both internally and externally. Deworming medication can cause significant damage to the dog's gastrointestinal tract, so it is advisable to feed them with probiotics to relieve gastrointestinal discomfort.
5. Pay attention to diet
In order for the dog to have a beautiful coat, it is necessary to establish a good nutritional foundation and pay attention to daily diet. On one hand, feed the dog with nutritious and healthy dog food, choose a suitable and nutritious brand that meets the dog's needs; on the other hand, provide the dog with lean meat, cooked egg yolk, and vegetable oil in moderate amounts.
